I was celebrating a farewell lunch with fellow colleagues and decided to select Korean food as the food for choice. So I asked one of my Korean colleagues to select the place of choice to eat.
One place that I would not have gone to, at least, not unless I stumbled upon it is a place called O.BBa Jjajang, located on 77 Tg Pagar Rd, Singapore 088498. The name is not a common name down the street it is on, which is filed with Korean, Japanese and Chinese restaurants, so it is quite easy to miss.
The food there quite authentic, and a place where Koreans go for their JjaJangMyeon, black soybean sauce noodles. It is very similar in look to the more salty Chinese-styled Zha Jiang Mia but sweeter and addictive. Worth a try, and this place opens till late as well!
Funny enough, as the group of 8 of us were walking out of the restaurant, we were surprised to meet our other two Korean colleagues eating their lunch (as we were in a function room for our lunch).
Worth a try if you are in the area!
