Changi Airport Terminal 4 Opening

Changi Airport Terminal 4 is open for open house this August. It's a pretty and efficient terminal with decent facilities and modernness to it.

I particularly enjoyed the big LCD televisions and performances that were available via the screens.

Downside to the terminal is that it is accessible to the other terminals such as terminals 1, 2 and 3 only via a bus. So there is no usual SkyTrain available. One would need to factor in a 10-15 minute depending on traffic on the freeway by the airport if you're looking to catch a flight here and are not taking a cab in directly.

They will be slowly making use of the terminal via selected flights by airlines that will be operating from the terminal. These include Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific, Korean Air, Spring Airlines, Vietnam Airlines as well as the four AirAsia airlines.

I look forward to this terminal full fledged official opening sometime next year.

In the meantime, here's some photos and videos to enjoy if you missed out on getting tickets to do a tour of the place during the T4 Open House.
