Top 2 Foods in Boon Keng Singapore to Eat

If you live in or near Boon Keng in Singapore, here's a list of my favourite places to eat.

Chee cheong fun at Bendemeer Market and Food Centre, Boon Keng

Follow the queues is often the usual rule for most places around the world. The same applies here.
There is always a long queue for this stall and most people order the chee cheong fun (rice rolls). Besides the chee cheong fun, they also sell yam cake,  and fried bee hoon. I love the chee cheong fun. It's my favourite in all of Singapore!

The chee cheong fun is thin and quite translucent, making it quite tender and not hard. I like the sauces, especially when freely sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. Tip here is to ask for more sauce and sesame seeds, you won't regret it.

Chee Leong Sing Hon Loong Bakery - great fresh laksa bread Singapore

My favourite bakery for getting fresh, hot bread at all hours of the day and night. This place never closes. Except maybe during the Chinese New Year period.
They freshly bake bread for some big chains around Singapore. Great laksa bread, bread spreads like. I love it, and only stumbled upon it walking around the area during the wee hours of the night.
What a nice and lovely hot surprise I had here!
